We use a trusted company as our shipping fulfillment center. All records are kept separate and private, and no mailing list is created from your data. The shipper does not create mailing lists as any part of its business.
If you sign up for announcements or if you signed up for the Sneak Peek, we will send you updates by email (which you can unsubscribe from) when new issues of Handknit Heroes are released.
If you subscribe to Handknit Heroes or buy other products, we won’t automatically sign you up for announcements by email. We will send you an email before your last issue ships out. And if you don’t renew, we’ll also send you a postcard in the mail when your subscription is due to expire.
If you contact us to sign up as a retailer, as an advertiser, or to submit a design, we won’t automatically sign you up for announcements or email. We are working on directed mailing lists for retailers, advertisers, and designers. These will also be opt-in lists.
Basically, all our announcements and emails are either customer service contacts or opt-in messages. We appreciate that you get a lot of email from people you actually do business with as well as people you don’t. If you receive an email from us, it’s because you either requested information, or because we need to talk with you directly. In the latter case, you’ll be contacted by a real human being.
We do not store your credit card information. If you place a retail order in our shop, your order is processed securely through PayPal.
